ABOUT: Working under moderate supervision, the research assistant will support the Director of theĀ SR2cĀ Center in the Department of Population and Quantitative Health Sciences, formerly the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics.
QUALIFICATIONS: Required are strong communication skills, positive personality, and ability to work independently and collaboratively, as well as being adaptive, responsive and responsible. Preferred qualifications include excellent analytical and computing skills with proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: R, SQL, Java/Python/Perl, Matlab/Mathematica, and perhaps experience with a Linux or an X-system. ABOUT: The Center for Statistical Research, Computing and Collaboration (SR2c) in the Department of Population and Quantitative Health Sciences, formerly Epidemiology and Biostatistics at Case Western Reserve University is seeking a highly motivated, adaptive and dedicated statistician to join the center as a Research Associate. The Research Associate will be responsible for original and collaborative research, related data analysis, software development and publications, as well as some student supervision and coordination of studies. QUALIFICATIONS: The applicant should hold a Ph.D. degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related field.
